Education & Public Safety
- I will fight to make sure Hastings' and District 33's
schools receive their fair share of school aid.
- We must make sure our tax money gets into the
classroom to benefit our students and teachers.
- I oppose providing in-state college tuition for
illegal immigrants.
- I will be tough on crime and I support the death
penalty for the worst crimes.
- I support 2nd Amendment rights and received an A-
rating from the National Rifle Association.

Seniors & Families
- We need to keep property taxes low so our seniors can
afford to stay here in Nebraska.
- I support programs that reduce the cost of long-term
care and allow seniors to stay in their homes longer.
- We need tax relief, particularly property taxes which
hit middle-class families, seniors and agriculture hard.
- I am Pro-life and the only candidate in District 33
endorsed by Nebraska Right to Life.

Business & Industry
- I support LB 775 and the Nebraska Advantage Act, which
made it possible for several businesses in Hastings to
grow and provide new jobs.
- I want to do more at the state level to provide
incentives for starting and growing businesses in Hastings
and rural communities.
- By cutting government spending, we can lower our state
tax burden and bring new businesses and jobs to Nebraska.

Agriculture & Small Business
- I oppose any increase in the gas tax.
Fuel costs for farmers, small businesses and consumers are
already too high.
- I support continued development of biofuels and
ethanol.
- I supported legislation passed recently that gave
small businesses a tax cut for the first time in years and
believe we should do more.
